THE SENSITIVE PLANT

Mimosa Pudica is a sensitive plant that reacts to the slightest touch to protect itself by retracting its leaves and branches.  Wind, rain, direct sun and touch make them react. The plant returns to its normal state after a few minutes. It produces small round pink to lilac-blue flowers.
